Dallas Morning News: As top Texans fight over Trump’s tax returns, here’s what you need to know about House Dems’ request

Rep. Lloyd Doggett, D-Austin, countered on Wednesday night that he wished the request had actually been a “little earlier and a little bit broader in scope.”

“This is a president with a history of questionable tax activities, a president who deviated from other candidates in refusing to disclose his returns,” Doggett, a senior Democrat on the House Ways and Means Committee, said in an interview on MSNBC.
